The purpose of this Unit is to allow learners to acquire knowledge and skills required to undertake the acquisition and editing of digital still images within the context of a given brief. Learners will develop skills which will enable them to identify image requirements, plan the acquisition of the images and will also develop skills to interpret the given brief and edit still images to meet the needs of the brief. On completion of this Unit learners should be able to confidently report on and justify reasons for their proposed solution, present the images in a format which conforms to the proposed solution for the brief and evaluate the finished product and their own performance.
