This Unit is designed to be an introduction to four main types of IT software — artwork and imaging,
word processing, presentation and spreadsheets. The candidate will be introduced to basic features of
these types of software application packages. The Unit will also provide candidates with information
regarding the selection of appropriate software for specific tasks.
