You will examine the terminology and requirements for staging a live performance before going on to study the requirements for studio recording and post production. The unit is intended for learners who have limited knowledge of sound production processes and intend to work in the music industry, especially as an artist manager, promoter, or a musician who carries out these roles on their own behalf. Throughout this unit, you will learn how to use common terminology which will enable you to communicate effectively in live, studio, and mastering environments
The purpose of this unit is to enable learners to undertake basic preparation of camera settings and to produce, manage and edit digital camera files using current hardware and software applications. They will develop knowledge and understanding of preparing digital cameras, file types, file management, editing techniques and storage options.
