Unit purpose This unit is designed to develop the learners’ knowledge of law as it applies to the music industry and to develop skills in evaluating the impact of contemporary issues on copyright and contracts. The unit will examine issues relating to music copyright, trademark and the collection societies before evaluating the impact of a current issue on music copyright.
