This unit is designed to enable learners to understand the main areas of professional practice in the outdoor and adventure sports industry. Learners will understand the considerations that are involved in providing a safe outdoor/adventure environment. They will also gain knowledge and skills which allow them to apply industry legislation and guidance in outdoor education and adventure sports contexts.   This unit is designed for learners who are seeking to develop the underpinning knowledge and skills to operate safely and effectively in an outdoor or adventure sports context. Â
This unit is designed to develop the necessary skills and techniques to produce a range of business documents using the functions of a current word processing package. This will include recalling, editing, producing hard-copy and creating documents as a result of merging two independent files. This unit is suitable for learners who have no previous experience, or those learners who have some basic knowledge of Word Processing and who wish to further develop their skills.
